Congratulations to Heath Grundy who stepped up on the weekend. Having umpired trhe AFL Vic. Dev. match on Saturday he was plucked from his post-match recovery when Stuart Wenn (AFL) injured himself during the senior match warm up.

Heath came on at quarter-time and joined Andrew Talbot and Tim Carlos for the remainder of the Blues-Scorpions clash. Interesting to note this is Andrew Talbot’s second match involving an injured AFL colleague this year. Earlier in the year he replaced an injured Jason Armstong at Docklands. Stuart was one of the other field umpires that day.
